When using detergents, do you clean the lines afterward? You should! Some detergents are highly caustic and can erode hoses and connected components. After finishing your wash, run clean water through for at least two minutes to rinse the lines, and make sure to take apart connections to perform a more thorough clean at least once a month to prolong the life of your equipment.
