A telescoping wand enables you to keep your feet flat on the ground while allowing you to reach 1, 2, or even 3 stories high.

A high pressure hose is guided up the inside of the pole and connects at the tip. This lets you set the length from fully retracted to fully extended, and anywhere in between.

It’s not all pie in the sky, however. It takes a fair amount of pressure to push water up in the air, so these wands connect to larger pressure washers with 3/8″ hoses.

Telescoping wands will flex when the pressure is turned on, and again when it’s turned off, so you must be at least 10 feet away from power lines at all times.

The good news is that fiberglass telescoping wands are light weight and inexpensive. They are meant to be used with cold water.
