A clean burning burner ring on a Natural Gas or LP pressure washer should have blue flames.  If your flames look yellow or orange, or have a gap between the flame and the spud, then you have a dirty burner ring.  This can be caused by dirt or debris getting into the burner or if the gas pressure is wrong it can cause a build up carbon.    Don’t let this happen to your pressure washer.  Schedule a regular preventative maintenance.  Your burners will be checked and cleaned if necessary.  Pictured below is the dirty burner.  Be on the lookout for this on your pressure washer.
